Reality show seeks contestants to ‘fearlessly tackle Austin’

Producers of a new reality show are in search of contestants ready to “fearlessly tackle Austin.”

That could include out-of-towners, they say, or even folks who already live here.

The unnamed show, which is set to air on a “major cable network” says it’s looking to cast “all types”: best friends, couples, families, roommates and even single folks.

People selected will live rent-free in “the greatest apartment building in Austin.”

You must be at least 18 and a U.S. citizen to be considered.

Filming is expected to begin in May.

That’s about it in terms of details being provided by the casting company, Lime Pictures.

Yet another reality show has its eye on Austin.

This time around, it’s “Behind the Ink,” a new “docu-soap” being made for an unnamed network.

Producers are looking for “the nation’s most colorful, talented and creative tattoo shop.”

From the show’s website: “Do you work in a badass tattoo shop with the most dynamic personalities? We are looking for the ink parlor at the top of its game.   Draw us into the creative, dramatic, funny and outrageous inner circle of the characters that fill in your second home.

“We want to go behind the scenes of your tattoo world, and discover the culture and personal lives of the people you call family, the passion you have for the art form and the clients that proudly wear your brand.”
