CBS Austin traffic anchor Chrisdyann Uribe has landed a new gig in Houston.

Uribe, who came to CBS Austin two years ago, will head down U.S. 290 next month to start work as the traffic anchor at Fox-owned KRIV, the station said Thursday.

A Texas State University graduate, Uribe handled traffic duties at KFOX in El Paso prior to landing at CBS Austin.

“Between Chrisdyann’s many years reporting on Texas traffic, and strong presence on broadcast and social media, she is prepared to help Houston’s drivers better navigate their commutes and avoid construction projects or delays,” KRIV vice president and news director Susan Schiller said in a written statement.
